Unlock Ukraine with Yulia Payevska (Taira)

Taira is a Ukrainian servicewoman, paramedic, volunteer, and commander of Taira’s Angels unit and the evacuation department of the 61st military mobile hospital.

Since 2014, Taira has participated as a paramedic in the Revolution of Dignity and the war in eastern Ukraine. On 16 March 2022, Payevska was captured by the Russians during the siege of Mariupol. She was released three months later.
