Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba has stated that Ukraine is fully satisfied with the text of a draft resolution on the occasion of the tragic anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, which the Russian Federation is trying to disrupt with all its might.
He said that the UN General Assembly was preparing to vote on 23 February on the Ukrainian draft resolution regarding Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine: “The document will mainly require the Russian Federation to completely withdraw its armed forces from the territory of Ukraine, cease hostilities, and also consolidate the key provisions of President Zelensky’s Peace Formula.”
“There is a tough behind-the-scenes fight, but despite the attempts of Russia and its satellites, who are trying to oppose the adoption of the resolution by introducing amendments, using all procedural tools, we are confident that the Ukrainian resolution will be successfully voted,” Kuleba noted.
The Minister assured that Ukraine and its partners were consistently building a comprehensive international system that would make it possible to hold Russia accountable for crimes against Ukraine.
