Ukrainians in Brussels protesting against results of Russian referenda

About 50 Ukrainian protesters gathered in Brussels in front of the building of the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the European Union. Protesters and organisers from Promote Ukraine condemn the unauthorised referenda that Russia holds in some regions of Ukraine and call them illegal.

At the end of September, Russia held referenda on accession to the Russian Federation in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions. According to the Russians, the results were always unambiguous and in their favor. (Sham) referenda are not recognised at the international level.
