The results of the all-Ukrainian public opinion poll “Omnibus” conducted by the Active Group research company in August 2021 showed that citizens trust the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the least with a weighted average score of 2.09 points out of 5. Ukrainians have slightly more trust in the Cabinet of Ministers (2.15 points) and the Prosecutor General’s Office (2.17 points). The Office of the President of Ukraine received the “highest score” of 2.67 points.
It is worth noting that the most common score in assessing the level of trust in government agencies was “1.” It was given to the Verkhovna Rada by 32.8% of respondents, the Cabinet of Ministers by 35.7%, and the Prosecutor General’s Office by 33.3%. Scores “3” dominated the assessment of the President’s Office, given by 28.4% of Ukrainians.
Background
Geography of the research included the entire territory of Ukraine except for the occupied regions. A total of 1,200 respondents were interviewed. The sample is representative by age, sex, region of Ukraine, and type of locality (city/village). The error with 0.95 confidence level does not exceed 2.9%.
