Ukrainian Demonstration to Be Held During EU Summit

A Ukrainian demonstration will be held in Brussels during the EU Summit this week.

During the EU Summit, we want to call on EU leaders to outline a clear-cut strategy on how European military support will help Ukraine win the war.

We are thankful for the political commitment of EU leaders to support Ukraine until victory. However, now is the moment to act upon this commitment and translate it into actions.

The current level of support is simply not enough for Ukraine to prevent future Russian counter-offences and not enough to bring its territories back. In the meantime, time is not on our side, where the future elections around the world bring uncertainty and where Russia keeps increasing its military production.

The military support of EU partners should be directly linked to an understanding of how this support would be translated into achievements on the battlefield. Otherwise, support without a defined strategy would bring little fruit.

Ukraine in turn will do everything it can to protect its land and to prevent a larger Russian assault on the members of the EU and NATO. However, we cannot do it alone. We need your support, and we need the strong support of our European partners since this is our common war.
