Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched one missile strike, 21 airstrikes, and 33 MLRS attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and the civilian infrastructure of populated settlements, the General Staff reports.
The Russian Federation continues to disregard the laws and customs of war, so the probability of launching missile and air strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains high.
“Despite numerous equipment and manpower losses, the enemy does not give up waging a war of aggression. It continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions. Over the past day, our defenders repelled 72 enemy attacks in the indicated directions,” the military said.
The enemy continues to hold the defense in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. Over the past 24 hours, more than 30 settlements came under enemy fire, including Vremivka, Novopil in Donetsk region; Novosilka, Olhivske, Malynivka, Chervone, Huliaypole, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia region; Zolota Balka, Kachkarivka, Beryslav, Kozatske, Burhunka, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, Veletenske in Kherson region and Kherson city.
Over the past day, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched 13 strikes on enemy personnel and military equipment clusters. The Ukrainian defenders also shot down two enemy Orlan-10 UAVs.
Missile and artillery units hit five areas of concentration of enemy manpower, weapons, and military equipment, as well as two electronic warfare stations.
