The investigative and operational teams of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) are working in more than 20 populated localities of the Kyiv region, in which most of Russia’s war crimes were committed. The officers are gathering evidence and establishing the entire chain of involvement, both on the part of Russian invaders and Ukrainian collaborators.
In just a few days, the SSU managed to establish lists of names of Russian servicemen who will be brought to justice for crimes against the peace and security of mankind.
The SSU also interviewed almost 2,000 people who witnessed these atrocities. Thus, 33 people who collaborated with the Russcists were identified.
Thanks to the data received, the SSU also detained 15 looters from among the local population. They have already been transferred to the National Police.
In addition, the Security Service of Ukraine found more than 100 explosive devices and more than 50 artillery shells, grenades, ammunition, detonators and more. They were handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The information collected will be attached to the files of criminal proceedings.
