“From year to year, Ukraine demonstrates its readiness to make reasonable compromises on the issue of local self-government after the return of the temporarily occupied territories to Ukraine. But it will never go to any special status of the occupied territories under the Russian scenario, with the right to veto national decisions and other requirements that undermine its sovereignty,” said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
According to him, Ukraine will not cross the red lines of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“We will not enter into a direct dialogue with the occupation administrations. We will not go for the federalization invented by the Kremlin. We will not give in to the issue of the border, the withdrawal of Russian troops, and the disbandment of the occupation administrations,” Kuleba said.
