In the near future, President Volodymyr Zelensky will issue a decree providing for the creation of cybertroops in Ukraine.
“Today we considered issues related to cybersecurity; we approved the Cybersecurity Strategy of our country. Today, we really secretly considered the issue of creating cybertroops in our country. And this decision was unanimously supported by 21 members of the National Security and Defence Council who were present,” Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov announced on the air of a Ukrainian TV channel.
He also noted that a strategy for cybersecurity development for the next five years had been adopted during the NSDC meeting on Friday, 14 May.
In addition, in Danilov’s opinion, the war in Donbas will end immediately after Russia leaves the territory.
“It will end very soon, as soon as Putin takes his troops, takes his tanks, takes his transporters from there and leaves for his territory in the Rostov region, leaves for the Kursk region. There will be his soldiers and the war will end immediately,” said the NSDC Secretary.
He stressed that Russia must give Ukraine control over the border as Ukraine was fulfilling all the agreements.
