Захід мав на меті привернути увагу до несправедливого рішення ВООЗ про виключення Тайваню з цієї організації та спроби підпорядкувати діяльність Тайваню контролю Китаю.

Від імені громадянського суспільства України ми висловлюємо категоричну незгоду з рішенням ВООЗ. Несправедливо і нелогічно виключати країну, яка входить до 15 найбагатших країн світу, країну, яка першою повідомила світ про загрозу коронавірусу, країну, яка успішно боролася з пандемією.

Китай намагається заглушити голос тайванського суспільства, принижуючи та не визнаючи владу та автономію тайванського народу. Ми, українці, стикаємося з тими ж методами впливу імперіалістичного режиму Путіна.

Голос тайванського народу ніколи не замовкне, і ми зробимо все, щоб його почули!

Ми також висловлюємо вдячність послу Лі за можливість бути присутніми і підтримувати Тайвань в ЄС і Бельгії
