It has been almost a year since the war in Ukraine began. It caused an influx of refugees to different countries of the world. There are more than 4 million of them in Europe, about 60,000 in Belgium. Has the enthusiasm of European citizens withstood the test of time?
This was discussed with founder of NGO “Promote Ukraine” Marta Barandiy and MEP from Poland Roza Thun on BX1 TV channel.
“At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, I was invited by Paul Germain to Europe Station programme of TV5Monde and BX1 in the European Parliament, with MEP Benoît Lutgen. A year later, I am invited again to talk about the needs of Ukrainian refugees in Brussels, about the collective responsibility of the Russian people, about the aspects of the genocide, and the only possible solution for sustainable peace – our victory!” Marta Barandiy noted.
