It’s Vyshyvanka Day

Today is Vyshyvanka Day, an international holiday that aims to preserve the Ukrainian folk traditions of creating and wearing ethnic embroidered clothes called Vyshyvanka.

So today, 16 May, we encourage Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine to wear an embroidered shirt and join a peaceful demonstration aimed at enhancing and accelerating delivery of militarily aid to Ukraine and reminding NATO members of their commitments to Ukraine amidst ongoing aggression.

The demonstration will take place in front of NATO HQ, Boulevard Léopold III, 1110 Brussels, Belgium, at 17:00.

After the demonstration, we are going to Grand Place together to celebrate the traditional Vyshyvanka Day! Hope to see you there.
