Thirty-Two Combat Engagements Took Place in Past Day

Over the past day, the Russian occupiers launched a massive air and missile attack on the territory of Ukraine, using three Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles, five Iskander-K land-launched cruise missiles, four Kh-22 cruise missiles, seven Oniks cruise missiles, and 19 Shahed combat UAVs. According to the results of the combat missions, air defence units destroyed two Kalibr cruise missiles, three Iskander-K land-launched cruise missiles, and 13 Shahed combat UAVs. This was reported by the General Staff.

Moreover, the enemy launched 49 airstrikes and 72 MLRS attacks. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are civilian casualties and destruction and damage to industrial facilities, residential buildings, and other civilian and administrative infrastructure.

The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high.

The enemy continues to focus its primary efforts in the direction of Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka; 32 combat engagements took place over the past day.

In the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna areas, the enemy is maintaining its military presence. The Russians fired mortars and artillery on more than 25 settlements, in particular, Leonivka in the Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Basivka, Volfyne in the Sumy region; and Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Odnorobivka, Starytsia, Vovchansk, and Budarky in the Kharkiv region.

In the direction of Kupyansk, our soldiers are firmly holding the defense. They successfully repelled enemy attacks southwest of Masiutivka, in the Kharkiv region. Dvorichna, Zapadne, Fyholivka, Kamyanka, Krasne Pershe, Kupyansk, Kucherivka, Monachynivka, and Topoli in the Kharkiv region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, the settlements of Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, andTorske, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Berestove, Kyslivka, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were hit with artillery.

In the Bakhmut direction, under heavy enemy artillery fire, our defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks on the southwestern outskirts of Klishchiivka. More than 10 settlements, including Vasiukivka, Markove, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Chasiv Yar, and Oleksandro-Shultyne in the Donetsk region, came under enemy artillery fire.

In the Avdiyivka region, under heavy enemy aviation and artillery fire, the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully repelled Russian attacks in the area of Nevelske. The enemy launched airstrikes in the areas of Sieverne and Avdiyivka. At the same time, artillery bombarded more than 10 settlements, in particular, Avdiyivka, Karlivka, Pervomayske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, our soldiers continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in Novomykhaylivka and Maryinka areas in the Donetsk region. The enemy launched airstrikes near Oleksandropil and Novomykhaylivka. More than 15 settlements were struck, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Zhelanne Pershe, Pobieda, and Heorhiyivka in the Donetsk region.

Near Shakhtarske, the Russians launched airstrikes in the areas of Zolota Nyva, Vuhledar, Storozhove, Makarivka, and Blahodatne and shelled the settlements of Velyka Novosilka, Vuhledar, Vodiane, Blahodatne, and Odradne in the Donetsk region.

In the direction of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, the Russian Federation is focusing its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. The occupiers made unsuccessful attempts to restore their lost position in the area north of Pryiutne in the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy launched airstrikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Yehorivka, and Pyatykhatky in the Zaporizhzhia region and Kozatske in the Kherson region. More than 30 settlements, including Novodanylivka, Malynivka, Huliaypole, Lobkove, Zaliznychne, and Bilohirya in the Zaporizhzhia region and Kherson, Poniativka, Tiahynka, Chervonyi Mayak, Antonivka, and Zymivnyk in the Kherson region were hit with artillery.

At the same time, the Defence Forces of Ukraine are continuing to go on the offensive in the Melitopol and Berdiansk areas, gain a foothold on the gained frontiers, inflict fire damage with artillery on identified enemy targets, and carry out counter-battery fights.

Over the past day, the aviation of the defence forces launched eight strikes on enemy personnel clusters. Also, our defenders destroyed one reconnaissance UAV of operational-tactical level.

Over the past 24 hours, missile and artillery units hit 10 artillery pieces on firing positions, two air defence systems, two EW stations, and four more important enemy objects.
