Ukrainian Community in Brussels Continues to Defend Interests of Ukraine!

More than a week ago, we wrote an open letter to the management of the largest theater in Belgium, La Monnaie De Munt, as a note of protest against the “Russian season” in the theater.

“Now is not the time for Russian culture. It is now so propagandist, it is an instrument of propaganda!” says the founder of Promote Ukraine, Marta Barandiy.

We also met with the management of La Monnaie, where we managed to defend our position and agree on a photo exhibition of Russian war crimes within the theater’s walls. Now, the spectators who will come to see the performances because “culture is outside of politics” will have the opportunity to see with their own eyes how cultural centers and monuments of Ukraine were destroyed “outside of politics.”
