The Security Service of Ukraine liquidated two groups of saboteurs of Russia’s Wagner Private Military Company who had been torturing Ukrainians in the Kharkiv region.
As the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine reports, the special forces discovered the bases of Wagner members with the help of aerial reconnaissance, surrounded them, and assaulted them. One saboteur was liquidated, four, including a commander of the enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group, were captured. During the interrogation, he tried to conceal the group’s tasks. According to him, the group of saboteurs allegedly “was waiting for reinforcement.”
The Security Service of Ukraine established that the saboteurs had been torturing Ukrainians. Now, the captured commander is providing the Ukrainian special services with information about the torture chambers set up by the occupiers.
Earlier, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevheniy Yenin stated that the Russian occupiers had set up torture chambers in almost all captured towns and villages in the territory of Ukraine to torture and murder local citizens. Usually, the invaders chose local police stations for that purpose.
