Shahed Loitering Munitions Attack Kyiv for Third Day in a Row

Another massive Shahed attack on the capital was launched at night. The air defence forces identified and destroyed about a dozen enemy targets in Kyiv’s airspace.

“The 505th day of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine. For the third day in a row, Kyiv is attacked with Shahed loitering munitions. Unmanned aerial vehicles entered the capital from different directions. We thank the guardians of our sky for their excellent job,” said Serhiy Popko, Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

Unfortunately, cases of falling debris were recorded in the Darnytskyi, Solomyanskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Obolonskyi, and Podilskyi districts of the city. According to preliminary information, residential buildings were damaged.

Two people were injured in the Darnytskyi district: a 19-year-old girl and a 23-year-old man (shrapnel injuries). They were hospitalised. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, one person was saved during the liquidation of the consequences.
