Russians Mercilessly Bombing Ukrainian Localities

The 117th day of the heroic opposition of the Ukrainian nation to the Russian military invasion has begun.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the situation in Volyn and Polissya directions has not changed significantly.

In Siversky direction, the enemy continues to keep up to three battalion tactical groups from the 1st guards tank army of the western military district and airborne units to shield the Russian-Ukrainian border in Bryansk and Kursk regions. In Bryansk region, the enemy deployed S-300V4 anti-aircraft missile systems within the anti-aircraft missile division.

In addition, the Russian aggressor fired artillery in the area of ​Seredyna-Buda, Sumy region.

In Slobozhansky direction, the enemy launched an airstrike in the areas of Tymofiyivka and Morozova Dolyna.

In Kharkiv direction, the enemy’s main efforts are focused on preventing Ukraine’s Defense Forces from advancing to the state border of Ukraine. The enemy fired intensively on the localities of Kozacha Lopan, Mali Prokhody, Dementiivka, Petrivka, Verkhniy Saltiv, Rubizhne, and the outskirts of Kharkiv.

In Slovyansk direction, the enemy fired artillery and MLRS in the areas of Chepil, Pryshyb, Protopopivka, Velyka Komyshuvakha, Dibrivne, Virnopillia, Mayak, Kurulka, Bohorodychne, Mazanivka, Krasnopillia, and Dolyna.

In Donetsk direction, the enemy continues to focus its efforts on Sievierodonetsk and Bakhmut direction and uses aviation intensively.

In Sievierodonetsk direction, the occupiers opened fire from tube and rocket artillery on the areas of Lysychansk, Syrotyne, Voronove, Borivske, Bila Hora, Ustynivka, Myrna Dolyna, and Toshkivka. They also launched airstrikes with pairs of Su-25 aircraft near Bila Hora and Myrna Dolina. Fighting continues to establish full control over the city of Sievierodonetsk.

In Bakhmut direction, over the past day, the enemy fired artillery and MLRS in the areas of Orikhove, Zolote-3, Mykolayivka, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Pokrovske, Klynove, Zaitseve, and New York. The enemy launched an airstrike near Yakovlivka and missile strikes near Travneve, Dolomitne, Zaitseve, and New York.

In Lyman, Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivsk, and Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy is trying to prevent the regrouping of Ukrainian units. The invaders fire artillery in the areas of Kalynove, Ocheretyne, Berdychi, Zhelanne, Tonenke, Sieverne, Orlivka, Semenivka, Vesele, Avdiivka, Netaylove, Vodiane, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novomykhaylovka, Pavlivka, Shevchenko, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, Olhivske, Zelene Pole, Novopil, Temyrivka, Poltavka, Malynivka, Chervone, Zaliznychne, Huliaypilske, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, and Kamyanske.

In Lyman direction, the enemy launched an airstrike with two Su-25 aircraft near Pryshyb and a missile strike near Mayaky.

In Avdiivka direction, the enemy launched airstrikes with Su-25 aircraft in the areas of Shevchenko and Vuhledar.

In the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, the main focus of the enemy’s naval force is on blocking civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.

Five sea-launched cruise missile carriers are kept ready to launch missile strikes on objects in the territory of Ukraine.
