On the night of July 6, Russia engaged at least six missile carriers, three surface and three submarine, with a volley of 36 missiles.
Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the joint coordination press centre of the southern defence forces, reported this. At the same time, she emphasised that Kalibr missiles launched from the sea can cover considerable distances, therefore, they pose a danger to all of Ukraine.
On that night, the biggest Russian attack since the beginning of the full-scale invasion was launched on the civilian infrastructure of Lviv. According to Lviv mayor Andriy Sadovyi, four people were killed, and nine more were injured as of 08:00. In total, more than 100 apartments and various civilian infrastructure objects were damaged.
The rubble is being cleared away and search operations are ongoing. A total of 169 people, 30 units of equipment and two canine teams of the State Emergency Service are involved in the liquidation of the consequences of the attack. Provision of psychological assistance for the victims was organised. Seven psychologists of the State Emergency Service work at the scene.
