Russians Launch 25 Missile Strikes, 42 Airstrikes on Peaceful Cities of Zaporizhzhia Region

According to the General Staff data, the Russian occupiers launched 25 missile strikes from S-300 missile systems on the peaceful cities of Zaporizhzhia, Komyshuvakha in Zaporizhzhia region and Snihurivka in Mykolaiv region, as well as 42 airstrikes over the past day. The enemy launched 46 MLRS attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and the infrastructure of populated settlements. Civilians were killed and injured; apartment blocks and private houses, civilian educational institutions, hospitals, churches, and other civilian infrastructure objects were destroyed and damaged.

The Russian aggressor continues to use terror tactics. The probability of launching missile strikes and airstrikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy suffers considerable losses but continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions, actively uses operational-tactical and army aviation in the specified areas. Bakhmut and Marinka remain at the epicenter of military operations. Over the past day, our soldiers repelled more than 60 enemy attacks on the specified sections of the front.

The battles for the city of Bakhmut do not stop. The enemy launched unsuccessful attacks near Khromove and Ivanivske. Vasiukivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Novodmytrivka, Pivnichne, Pleshchiyivka, and Shcherbynivka in Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

In Avdiivka direction, the enemy went on the offensive in the areas of Novokalynove, Sieverne, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske, had no success. The invaders struck more than 15 settlements.

The enemy defends itself in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. Over 40 settlements were shelled over the past day, including Vremivka and Novopil in Donetsk region; Chervone, Charivne, Orikhiv, Novopavlivka, Stepove in Zaporizhzhia region; Zolota Balka, Kozatske, Lvove, Mykilske, Kherson in Kherson region.

Over the past day, the aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched five strikes on the enemy personnel concentration areas and an anti-aircraft missile system.

Four enemy UAVs were also shot down (two Orlan-10 UAVs, one Eleron reconnaissance drone, and one Lancet kamikaze drone).

The missile and artillery units hit an enemy command post, anti-aircraft missile system, manpower concentration area, fuel depot, and two ammunition depots.
