Russians Fired 40 Cruise Missiles at Ukraine Last Night

The Russian Federation continues to disregard international humanitarian law and strikes Ukraine, shelling military and civilian objects. Last night, the Russian occupiers attacked military facilities and critical infrastructure objects in Ukraine with cruise missiles and combat drones.

According to the General Staff data, the enemy fired up to 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles from nine Tu-95ms strategic aircraft from the Caspian Sea area.

The enemy attacked from the north and south with Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 UAVs. A total of 35 combat drones were recorded.

The air defence forces worked in the areas of responsibility of all air commands of the Air Force: “Center,” “East,” “South,” and “West.”

The forces and means of the air commands, in cooperation with the air defence units of other components of the Defence Forces of Ukraine, destroyed 67 aerial targets:

– 37 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles

– 29 Shahed-136/131 combat UAVs

– 1 reconnaissance UAV of operational-tactical level

In general, over the past day, the enemy launched 97 airstrikes, in particular, using 59 Iranian-made Shahed combat UAVs. The Ukrainian defenders destroyed 58 Shahed drones. Also, the enemy launched 39 MLRS attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated settlements.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit three areas of concentration of enemy weapons and military equipment, an S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, a Tor anti-aircraft missile system, six command posts, an electronic warfare station, an artillery unit on a firing position, and an ammunition depot.
