According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian Federation launched another missile attack on Mykolaiv last night. Information regarding the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified.
Over the past 24 hours, the Russian occupiers launched 30 air strikes and 47 MLRS attacks. Unfortunately, people were killed and wounded, and residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.
The probability of further enemy missile attacks and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts toward Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka. Heavy fighting is ongoing. About 30 combat engagements took place in the past day.
The Russians maintain a military presence in the Siversky and Slobozhansky areas. During the day, an air strike was carried out near Hremiach in the Chernihiv region. The enemy forces shelled more than 15 settlements with mortars and artillery, including Bleshnia, Kostobobriv, and Buchka in the Chernihiv region; Holyshivske and Volfyne in the Sumy region, and Udy and Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, our soldiers are firmly holding the defence. The enemy carried out air strikes in the Kolodiazne and Kyslivka districts of the Kharkiv region. Krasne Pershe, Fyholivka, Dvorichne, Kupiansk, and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region fell under enemy artillery and mortar attacks.
Toward Lyman, the Russian forces conducted assault operations. They tried to dislodge the Defence Forces from their positions in the area west of Spirne in the Donetsk region, but they had no success. The enemy used aircraft to attack the districts of Novosadove, Ivanivka, Serebrianka Forestry, and Spirne in the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements came under Russian artillery fire, including Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Verkhniokamianske, Rozdolivka, Berestove, and Vesele in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut area, under heavy fire from the enemy’s aircraft and artillery, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled attacks in the area of Dubovo-Vasylivka in the Donetsk region. The Russians launched air strikes on the areas of Oleksandro-Shultyne and Pivnichne. More than 15 settlements were subjected to enemy artillery shelling, including Kramatorsk, Chasiv Yar, Dyliivka, Pivnichne, and Pivdenne in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Avdiivka, the Defence Forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the area of Avdiivka. More than 15 settlements came under enemy artillery fire, including Keramik, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Vodiane, and Karlivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Marinka direction, under the fire of Russian artillery, Ukrainian defenders repelled all attacks in the area of Marinka. The enemy launched air strikes on the district of Krasnohorivka, and shelled more than 15 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Heorhiivka, Maksymilianivka, Pobeda, Yelyzavetivka, and Katerynivka in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Shakhtarske, Russian occupiers conducted unsuccessful offensive actions towards Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements were shelled, including Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Shakhtarske, and Makarivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson areas, the enemy concentrated its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. The occupiers launched air strikes near the Rivnopil and Novodanylivka districts in the Zaporizhzhia region and Kozatske in the Kherson region. They carried out artillery shelling of more than 20 settlements, including Novodarivka, Huliaipole, Preobrazhenka, Orikhiv, and Stepnohirsk in the Zaporizhzhia region; Nikopol of the Dnipropetrovsk region; Beryslav, Vesele, Antonivka, and Bilozerka of the Kherson region, and the city of Kherson.
At the same time, the Defence Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, consolidating on the achieved lines, inflicting fire damage from artillery, and carrying out counter-battery measures.
