Russian Occupiers Continue Forced Passportisation of People in Temporarily Occupied Territory of Zaporizhzhia Region

According to the General Staff data, the enemy launched five missile strikes, 32 airstrikes, and more than 50 MLRS attacks over the past day.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on offensive operations in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions – more than 70 enemy attacks were repelled. Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka remain at the epicenter of combat operations.

“In Lyman direction, over the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Bilohorivka and Verkhniokamyanske. Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, Torske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in Donetsk region came under artillery fire,” the General Staff reports.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy does not stop assaulting Bakhmut, trying to take it under complete control. Our soldiers repelled more than 20 enemy attacks. Also, the Ukrainian troops repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the area of Ivanivske settlement. Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Kostiantynivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Zalizne, and New York in Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

“In Avdiivka and Marinka directions, the enemy went on the offensive near Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Marinka but had no success. Over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers repelled more than 15 enemy attacks near Marinka and Avdiivka alone. In addition, the invaders shelled Orlivka, Tonenke, Sieverne, Netaylove, Krasnohorivka, and Heorhiivka in Donetsk region,” the military informs.

In Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy shelled the settlements of Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, and Neskuchne over the past day.

The General Staff emphasized that the enemy did not conduct active operations in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions but improved its defensive lines and positions. The enemy hit more than 30 settlements near the contact line, including Olhivske, Huliaypole, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriyivka, Kamyanske in Zaporizhzhia region; Zolota Balka, Tomaryne, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Zelenivka, Komyshany, Bilozerka, and Kherson in Kherson region.

The Russian occupiers continue the forced passportisation of people in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region. In particular, in Melitopol, the invaders force school teachers to renounce Ukrainian citizenship and obtain Russian passports by 1 June.

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation launched eight strikes on the concentration areas of the occupiers, while Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit one enemy command post, three manpower concentration areas, three positions of air defense systems, and six other important objects of invaders.
