Russian Federation Continues to Wage War of Aggression

According to General Staff data, over the past day, the enemy used Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles and Shahed Iranian-made combat UAVs. The forces and means of the air commands, in cooperation with the air defence of other components of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, destroyed four out of six Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles and six out of eight Shahed UAVs.

In total, over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 14 missile strikes, 40 airstrikes, 51 MLRS attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated settlements. Unfortunately, civilians were killed and injured; private houses, educational institutions, and other civilian and administrative infrastructure objects were damaged.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions completely. Over the past day, 29 combat engagements took place.

In the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, an enemy reconnaissance and sabotage group made an unsuccessful attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine in the area of the Zelene settlement in the Kharkiv region. The invaders also launched missile strikes on the areas of Vovchansk, and Chuhuiv and airstrikes near Ivashky, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near Novoselivske, Luhansk region. An airstrike was launched near Serhiyivka in the Donetsk region. Kolodiazne, Krasne Pershe, Fyholivka, Novomlynsk, Dovhenke, Kutkivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, Tabayivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region; Novoselivske in the Luhansk region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region. Makiyivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region; Verkhniokamyanske, Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were hit with artillery.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy went on the offensive toward Ivanivske, but had no success. Airstrikes were launched in the areas of Vasiutynske, Toretsk, and Pivnichne. The areas of settlements of Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Predtechyne, Bila Hora, Dyliyivka, and New York in the Donetsk region came under enemy artillery fire.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to hold the defence. Airstrikes were launched near Novopil in the Donetsk region; Olhivske in the Zaporizhzhia region; Beryslav and Vesele in the Kherson region. Vilne Pole, Zelene Pole, Novopil, Temyrivka in the Donetsk region; Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriyivka, Stepove, Kamyanske in the Zaporizhzhia region; Kozatske, Tiahynka, Ivanivka, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Kherson in the Kherson region came under artillery fire.

The aviation of the defence forces launched 15 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel.

Our defenders destroyed six enemy reconnaissance UAVs. Missile and artillery units hit three enemy command posts, two areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, four ammunition depots, two anti-aircraft missile systems, and four electronic warfare stations.
