DEIn the Zhytomyr region, the Security Service of Ukraine detained yet another Russian agent who wanted to join a combat unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to conduct reconnaissance and sabotage activities in favour of the occupiers.
It is established that the enemy recruited a resident of the Kyiv region at the beginning of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation.
During the temporary occupation of one of the populated localities, he guided the invaders on the ground, collected data on the deployment of Ukrainian troops, and disclosed the addresses of former participants in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in eastern Ukraine.
In addition, the wrongdoer advised the occupiers on places for covert placement of enemy equipment near social infrastructure and residential buildings.
After the settlement was liberated, the Russian agent was given another task and voluntarily appealed to a local military enlistment office, asking to be enlisted in one of the military units.
However, the officers of the Security Service of Ukraine exposed hostile plans and detained the traitor. He was charged with committing a crime and has been remanded in custody.
A resident of the Kramatorsk district was detained in the Donetsk region. The occupiers recruited him to gather intelligence information about the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
To fulfil the aggressors’ task, the criminal had to mark the location of Ukrainian troops on a map and send coordinates via Telegram.
Measures are currently being taken to identify and prosecute other people involved in crimes against Ukraine.
