Russia Shortens Training Period for Personnel Taken from Prisons to 10 Days Due to Heavy Losses

According to the General Staff data, the enemy launched six missile strikes, 52 airstrikes, and 65 MLRS attacks over the past day. Private houses and other civilian infrastructure objects in the city of Dnipro were destroyed and damaged. To strike the Ukrainian towns of Lyman, Slovyansk, and Kostiantynivka, the enemy again used S-300 missile systems, which are not high-precision weapons. This once again points to the terror tactics of the Russian Federation.

The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts in the direction of Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka. Over the past 24 hours, 37 combat engagements took place on the specified areas of the front. Bakhmut and Maryinka are at the epicenter of military operations.

In the area of Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna, the enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine; enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups operate in some areas of the state border. Over the past day, the invaders used mortars and artillery to shell Mykolayivka in the Chernihiv region; Prohres, Studenok, Bilokopytove, Vovkivka, Volfyne, Zapsillia, Mykhaylivka in the Sumy region; Udy, Hraniv, Zelene, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Pletenivka, Vovchansk, Nesterne, and Budarky in the Kharkiv region.

In the direction of Kupyansk, the enemy does not stop trying to improve its tactical position. Over the past day, the invaders carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Masiutivka. Kamyanka, Kolodiazne, Krasne Pershe, Petro-Ivanivka, Fyholivka, Novomlynsk, Zapadne, Monachynivka, Masiutivka, Tabayivka, and Berestovka in the Kharkiv region; Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region came under artillery and mortar attacks.

In the Lyman region, over the past day, the enemy carried out offensive operations in the direction of Ivano-Daryivka, but had no success. Airstrikes in the Nevske area were launched. Makiyivka, Nevske, and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Verkhniokamyanske, and Spirne in the Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut area, the enemy continues to conduct offensive operations, and battles for the city continue. Over the past day, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to restore lost positions south of the Ivanivske settlement. In addition, the invaders carried out offensive operations in the direction of Hryhorivka but had no success. Airstrikes were launched in the Bakhmut and Ivanivske areas. Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Bila Hora, Toretsk, and New York in the Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

In the Avdiyivka area, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the direction of Avdiyivka and Pervomayske. Over the past day, the enemy launched an airstrike in the Avdiyivka area. Novokalynove, Berdychi, Stepove, Avdiyivka, Sieverne, Pervomayske, Karlivka, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region came under enemy artillery fire.

Ukrainian troops continue to repel enemy attacks in the Maryinka area. The enemy launched airstrikes near it and in the Novomykhaylivka area. At the same time, Heorhiyivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhaylivka in the Donetsk region came under enemy shelling.

In the area of Shakhtarske, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations. At the same time, airstrikes were launched near Vodiane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Velyka Novosilka. Vodiane and Vuhledar were struck with artillery.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is defending itself and is continuing to destroy the infrastructure of settlements near the contact line. Over the past day, airstrikes were launched on Novodanylivka and Stepove in the Zaporizhzhia region, and Stanislav and Kizomys in the Kherson region. The invaders also shelled Vremivka, Burlatske, Novosilka, Zelene Pole, and Novopil in the Donetsk region; Olhivske, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Huliaypilske, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Mali Shcherbaky, and Kamyanske in the Zaporizhzhia region; and Kherson, Mykhailivka, Kozatske, Burhunka, Tiahynka, Molodizhne, Kizomys in the Kherson region.

Due to significant manpower losses, Russian military leadership decided to reduce to 10 days the training period for personnel from among the convicts, whose base camp was deployed in the Starobilsk district of the Luhansk region. Earlier, about 1,000 people were brought to the camp from penal facilities in the territory of Russia. The training was then planned to be carried out for four weeks.

Over the past day, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched 14 strikes on the enemy’s personnel and military equipment clusters, as well as seven strikes on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.

Three enemy reconnaissance UAVs of various types and five combat UAVs were destroyed.

Missile and artillery units hit five enemy personnel clusters, two ammunition depots, three artillery units on firing positions, two command posts, an electronic warfare station, an anti-aircraft missile system, and another important target.
