Russia launched three groups of cruise missiles on Ukraine and attacked Kharkiv with S-300 missiles.
“The occupiers struck Kharkiv city, particularly Slobidskyi district, six times. Civilian infrastructure was damaged; information about victims is being checked,” said Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that all explosions had occurred in the Slobidskyi district of the city, according to preliminary information.
“Yet another enemy missile attack on Kyiv. According to preliminary data, approximately 10 Tu-95MS strategic aircraft launched Kh-101/555/55 cruise missiles. More than 20 enemy targets were destroyed by air defence forces and means. But as a result of the missiles being shot down, debris fell in several districts of the capital. In (the) Shevchenkivskyi district, a gas pipeline was damaged; fire did not break out as far as we know. In (the) Darnytskyi district, non-residential premises and parked cars were damaged by debris. There is a fire,” Serhiy Popko, Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, said.
Doctors hospitalised an 18-year-old girl and a 9-year-old girl in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, from a house next to the infrastructure object where the debris fell.
“According to the confirmed data from the doctors, seven people were injured in (the) Darnytskyi district. Three of them are in the city’s hospitals. Four received help on the spot,” the capital’s mayor’s office reported.
In Cherkasy, five people were injured, and one person remains under the rubble as a result of a missile attack. Following the work of the air defence systems, debris fell in the central part of the city. In particular, a social infrastructure object was damaged. The rescue operation is ongoing.
Explosions were also heard in the Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Rivne regions.
The Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration reported the work of air defence systems.
