Russia finances the occupation regime in Ukraine for $ 1.3 billion

This amount is spent only on salaries to maintain the occupation regimes in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. This was stated by Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov. “62-63% of the budgets of those two entities are financed by the Russian Federation because they collect only 37-38% with their taxes and fees. However, this figure decreases every year. Previously, they had 40%. According to various sources, 1 billion 300 million dollars is just salary financing,” Reznikov informs.
