Belarus continues to assist Russia in the war against Ukraine. The Russian army uses Belarusian ammunition, spare parts, and airspace to carry out airstrikes in Ukraine, according to Brigadier General Oleksii Hromov, Deputy Head of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, since the beginning of October, almost 30 carriages with ammunition for the occupiers have been sent from the Belarusian missile and ammunition storage arsenals to the Donetsk and Kherson regions.
“In total, since 24 February, 26 echelons with a total number of almost 250 carriages and a weight of more than 10,000 tonnes have been sent from the territory of Belarus,” Hromov said.
He added that in Belarus, along with the Russian occupiers, the selection and further movement of car tires, assemblies, aggregates, and other spare parts for the armoured vehicles of the Russian army is carried out for the needs of the enemy.
