Ruscists Making Futile Offensive Attempts in Lyman, Avdiivka, Zaporizhzhia Directions

The 334th day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun. According to the General Staff data, the threat of Russian strikes using ground-, sea-, and air-launched missiles and kamikaze drones remains throughout Ukraine.

Over the past day, the ruscists launched four missile strikes, five airstrikes, and more than 40 MLRS attacks.

The enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in Lyman, Avdiivka, and Zaporizhzhia directions. The enemy troops continue going on the offensive in Bakhmut direction.

“Over the past day, the units of the Defence Forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of Stelmakhivka and Novoselivske in Luhansk region; Vyimka, Rozdolivka, Bilohorivka, Paraskoviyvka, Bakhmut, Stupochky, Novobakhmutivka, Pervomaiske, and Marinka in Donetsk region,” the Ukrainian military said.

According to the General Staff data, the areas of the settlements of Sopych, Kharkivka, and Popivka in Sumy region; Veterynarne, Strilecha, Zelene, Pylna, Vovchansk, Novomlynsk, Starytsia, and Dvorichna in Kharkiv region came under mortar and artillery fire.

In Kupyansk direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Petropavlivka, Tabaivka, Synkivka, Krokhmalne, and Kupyansk in Kharkiv region; Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region.

In Lyman direction, Makiyivka, Ploshchanka, Chervonopopivka, Serebrianske forestry, and Kuzmyne in Luhansk region were hit.

In Bakhmut direction, the areas of 21 settlements, including Verkhniokamyanske, Krasnopolivka, Zalizne, Bilohorivka, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Kurdiumivka, and Mayorsk in Donetsk region.

In Avdiivka direction, Avdiivka, Nevelske, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, and Marinka came under enemy fire.

In Novopavlivka direction, the enemy fired artillery and mortars at Bohoyavlenka and Mykilske in Donetsk region.

In Zaporizhzhia region, more than 20 settlements, in particular, Vilne Pole, Vremivka, Novopil in Donetsk region; Huliaypole, Pavlivka, Novodanylivka, Stepove, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, and Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia region came under artillery fire.

In Kherson direction, in particular, the areas of Dudchany, Inhulets, Havrylivka, Burhunka, Monastyrske, Antonivka, and Kherson were struck with MLRS.

“From January 18 to 21, new groups of the occupiers arrived in the settlements of Vynohradove and Brylivka, Kherson region. The personnel was armed only with small arms. Only some soldiers had the means of personal protection, for example, bulletproof vests. No military equipment was brought in,” the General Staff said.

The enemy continues to suffer losses. The town hospital of Dniprorudne, Zaporizhzhia region, is overcrowded with wounded. Only recently, about 150 invaders have been delivered. At the same time, most of the hospital staff refused to cooperate with the occupiers, so doctors are sent from the Russian Federation.
