Ruscists Going on Offensive in Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Novopavlivka

The 252nd day of the Ukrainian nation’s heroic resistance to the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

The enemy is trying to hold the temporarily captured territories, focusing its efforts on restraining the actions of the Defence Forces in certain directions, and going on the offensive in the direction of Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Novopavlivka. This is stated in the General Staff’s report.

Over the past day, the Defence Forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Makiivka, Nevske, and Bilohorivka settlements in the Luhansk region and Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Bakhmut, Mayorsk, Pervomaiske, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane, Pavlivka, and Prechystivka settlements in the Donetsk region.

“The enemy shells the units of the Defence Forces along the contact line, reinforces the lines in certain directions and conducts aerial reconnaissance. The invaders continue striking civilian critical infrastructure and houses in violation of international humanitarian law, the laws and customs of war,” the General Staff noted.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched seven missile strikes, 47 airstrikes, and more than 90 MLRS attacks.

More than 25 settlements, including Kramatorsk, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Mykilske in the Zaporizhzhia region and Pavlivka in the Donetsk region, came under enemy fire.

There is still a threat of new strikes and the use of combat drones, in particular, from the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

According to updated information, the losses of the enemy were confirmed in the area of the Muzikyvka settlement of the Kherson region on 29 October. As a result of the fire damage, the Pantsir-S1 missile system was destroyed and up to 10 units of other enemy military equipment were damaged. On 30 October, 12 invaders were eliminated in the area of Snihurivka in the Mykolaiv region.

According to available information, the ruscists set up an additional hospital in the area of the Zavitne Bazhannia settlement in the Donetsk region, which is currently full of wounded servicemen from the occupation forces.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched 33 strikes on the enemy over the past day, hitting 26 areas of enemy weapons and military equipment clusters, as well as seven air defence positions.

Over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers shot down a helicopter, two Orlan-10 UAVs, six Shahed-136 combat UAVs, and two Kub UAVs.

The missile and artillery units of the Defence Forces hit four areas of enemy manpower, weapons, and military equipment clusters, three ammunition depots and six other important military objects.
