As of 31 May, 14,842 war crimes and 6,958 crimes against Ukraine’s national security were documented. According to official data from juvenile prosecutors, the armed aggression of the Russian Federation has affected 689 children in our country. In particular, 243 children were killed and 446 children were injured, the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.
As a reminder, apart from Ukraine, the parliaments of Estonia, Latvia, Canada, Poland, Lithuania, and the Czech Republic recognised Russia’s war crimes as genocide against the Ukrainian people. This was announced by Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, who thanked the parliamentarians of other countries for their support.
