Over 70 Cyber Attacks on Government Agencies Blocked in Ukraine in June

In June 2021, the Cyber Security Situation Centre of the Security Service of Ukraine stopped and neutralised 76 cyber attacks on information systems of government agencies.

The main types of cyber threats (hacker attacks) detected were:

• Connection with command and control servers (C&C Server)
• Attempts to gain unauthorised access (Brute Force Attack)
• Web App Attacks
• Malware
• And others

As a reminder, the Ukrainian cyber experts exposed the facts of purposeful dissemination of malware by the special services of the Russian Federation in June. The customers planned to hit the computer networks of government agencies, bodies of local self-government, and critical infrastructure facilities.
