The National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine monitors the actions by a group of people against Ukrainian statehood and states the Russian Federation engagement in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine decision on the declaration. The National Security and Defence Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov announced this on-air on a Ukrainian TV channel.
“We are observing a people group’s clear actions aimed at destroying Ukrainian statehood … Moreover, I have no doubt that the aggressor took part in this,” the high-ranking official said, adding that the CCU judges purposefully participated in “the country shaking.”
The National Security and Defence Council Secretary claims that President Volodymyr Zelensky did not violate the legislation by submitting a bill to “restore public confidence in the constitutional judiciary” to Verkhovna Rada. The initiative’s further fate depends on MPs.
To recap, earlier Danilov talked about the existence of a plan against Ukraine that is testified by the CCU actions on recognition of some provisions of the anti-corruption legislation to be unconstitutional. The National Security and Defence Council Secretary stated that the CCU had no right to make decisions in its favour and such decisions, in his opinion, cannot be legally justified.
