According to the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence, the military-political command of the Russian Federation is planning a large-scale provocation on Ukraine–Belarus border in the near future.
To cover the provocation in detail, the main Russian propagandist, Vladimir Solovyov, is expected to arrive in Belarus. On 11 March, it is planned to organise a tele- and radio conference and a live broadcast from the scene for Russian propaganda media.
“To do this, several groups of Russians arrive in Belarus. The plans of the occupiers could foresee the threat of destruction of infrastructure facilities and civilian victims,” the intelligence officers said.
They emphasised that the provocation aims to create hostile public opinion about Ukraine among Belarusian citizens and to ensure the full-fledged participation of the country’s armed forces in the war on the side of the Russian Federation.
As a reminder, Ukraine does not conduct any military operations in the territory of Belarus.
