On a parlé de créativité, d’inspiration, de livres pour enfants, du rôle des femmes ukrainiennes contemporaines, de leur caractère et de leurs réalisations. En tant que journaliste, l’auteur sélectionne des événements décisifs dans la vie de ses héros, qui ont donné l’impulsion aux grandes réalisations. Les livres de Mark Livin sont dédiés aux gens. Bien que ce soient des livres pour les enfants, ils peuvent être émotionnels, sensibles et dramatiques. L’auteur a lu des extraits de ses œuvres, qui ont suscité toute une gamme d’émotions chez le public. Mark Livin a exprimé une position intéressante sur la langue: “Les populistes continuent de jouer avec les problèmes linguistiques. Ce qui compte pour moi, c’est ce que la personne dit et non pas sa langue. Les valeurs n’ont que le sens de ce qui est dit. Ce n’est qu’avec l’augmentation du contenu de haute qualité en langue ukrainienne que la langue ukrainienne peut être promue”.

Conference Beyond Geopolitics: Why does the Crimean Tatars Case Matter?

On 9 October Brussels’ experts and politicians had an opportunity to listen to the prominent speakers like Refat Chubarov (Chair of Mejlis), Emine Dzhaparova (Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine), Alim Aliev (co-founder of Crimea SOS), Julie Ward (MEP, Representative of Intergroup on Children), Amanda Paul (European Policy Centre), Mykola Tochytskyy (Ambassador of Ukraine to Belgium) and many more.
And then, we had a chance to taste a Crimean Tatar cuisine, prepared by the chef-cook of the restaurant Musafir (Kyiv) and listen to the songs of the singer Elvira Sarykhalil who together with two musicians came from Crimea especially for us. Also, our guests could see the pictures of the children of political prisoners of Russia during the exhibition that was part of the event.
Both events were organized by Promote Ukraine, Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization, International Partnership for Human Rights, Crimea SOS, MOZHU, Business Woman Mag, and the Mission of Ukraine to the EU.
The conference has been hosted by MEPs Maria Corazza Bildt, Tunne Kelam (EPP) and Mark Demesmaeker (ECR).

It is about a complicated but interesting way to self-realization of young Ukrainians in the Motherland and abroad. There are several stories about those who have decided to leave everything in order to start doing what they love to do. The film should inspire and make you believe in yourself and not abandon your dreams and your destiny…

Le 7 juin 2018 dans une librairie «LibreBook» s’est produit un événement très intéressant, organisé par l’association «Promote Ukraine», – la présentation des traductions ukrainiennes des livres flamands et néerlandais, réalisées par Natalia Karpenko, membre de l’association et traductrice de néerlandais.
Les participants ont eu, également, l’occasion de discuter par Skype avec des représentants de plusieurs maisons d’édition ukrainiennes, notamment, «Tempora», «Dukh i litera», «Art-Nebo», qui ont fait part de leurs nouvelles éditions et des projets pour l’avenir.

Ukrainian Blockchain Art Presentation, Exhibition and Networking in Brussels - 17 May

This is an international event that started in Ukraine in October 2017 with 1st Blockchain Art Hackathon where blockchain community worked hand-by-hand with artists to turn Blockchain ideas into pieces of art. Specialists, famous Bitcoin users and crypto enthusiasts gathered together with 30 Ukrainian artists to create a brand-new, innovative trend in art. After the detailed acquaintance with the technology, the artists worked in the enclosed space for 48 hours to create their masterpieces.
Art objects, created as a result of the hackathon, were presented at the exhibitions in the Ukrainian Parliament, Ministries, leading universities and top level conferences, where they gained wide acceptance. Each art object in the collection was tokenized.
Copyrights were secured using Blockchain technology.

Business Woman Forum in Kyiv

Our partner Business Woman Magazine and its owner Hanna Krysiuk organised a 2nd Business Woman Forum in Kyiv. 

The goal of the Forum was to consolidate women in business, politics and the social sphere in order to establish close cooperation, and representation of Ukraine in the world.

The supportive speakers were the first and the third Presidents of Ukraine – Leonid Kravchuk and Viktor Yushchenko, Ambassadors of many different countries, among which the Ambassador of Belgium Luc Jacobs and the Ambassador of the EU to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli. Also, the honorary consul of Ukraine in Belgium Kris Beckers visited the event. 


Among speakers was also the unofficially called among Ukrainians “queen of metallurgy” – Alina Skomorokhova, the Director of Specialized Metallurgical Processing Enterprise LLC Tin Impex (Ukraine) as well as the President of the European Congress of Ukrainians and at the same time the MP of the Hungarian Parliament Yaroslava Khortyani.

The general partner of the forum was the Hungarian construction company Magasepito’99 KFT and its owner Zoltan Horvath, and the exclusive partner – International Diplomatic Council in Ukraine and its President Victoria Lisnycha.
