More Than 60 Enemy Attacks Repelled Over Past Day

Over the past day, the enemy launched three missile strikes, 29 airstrikes, and 51 MLRS attacks, the General Staff reported.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on offensive operations in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions. Over the past day, more than 60 enemy attacks were repelled. Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka remain at the epicenter of combat operations.

“In Bakhmut direction, the enemy tries to take full control of Bakhmut city and continues to assault it. Also, over the past day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Bohdanivka and Ivanivske settlements. The Defence Forces’ units repelled about 20 enemy attacks on the indicated section of the front. More than 15 settlements of Donetsk region came under enemy fire,” the military said.

In Avdiivka and Marinka directions, the enemy went on the offensive in Novokalynove, Avdiivka, and Marinka districts of Donetsk region but had no success. The invaders launched more than 25 unsuccessful attacks near Marinka alone. At the same time, Novokalynove, Berdychi, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, Netaylove, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka, and Pobieda came under enemy fire.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy builds up fortifications on its defensive lines and positions. More than 35 settlements were struck.

“The invaders continue to use healthcare facilities of the temporarily captured territories for their purposes. For example, the occupiers turned a local hospital in Mala Bilozerka, Zaporizhzhia region, into a military hospital. Currently, Russian doctors work in a civilian healthcare institution. They provide their services exclusively to Russian military personnel. As of 2 April, about 80 invaders with injuries of varying degrees of severity were treated,” the General Staff informed.

Over the past day, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched 17 strikes on enemy personnel and military equipment clusters.

At the same time, the Ukrainian defenders destroyed a Russian Ka-52 helicopter and two Orlan and Supercam UAVs. The missile and artillery units hit two enemy command posts, three ammunition depots, three air defenсe positions, and four electronic warfare stations.
