Representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Donbas recorded 251 violations of the silence regime after the ceasefire was announced at midnight on 27 July. Such information is available in the Mission’s report, which was released on Wednesday, 5 August.
“At the end of the reporting period, the SMM recorded a total of 251 ceasefire violations, both in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, as well as 45 explosions, two shootings in flight, three flares and 201 rounds and small arms fire,” the statement said.
Earlier it was reported that during the past day pro-Russian fighters in Donbas made three shots towards the Ukrainian positions. There are no casualties among Ukrainian servicemen.
In general, since 17 July, about 1-2 shootings during the day have been recorded in Donbas. So far, the “silence” regime has not been fully maintained.
At the same time, the Joint Forces Operation headquarters reports that no Ukrainian servicemen have been killed or wounded since the ceasefire was reached.
