Marta Barandiy Takes Part in Roundtable on EU Sanctions About Need to Ban Russian Aluminium

Yesteday, Founder and President of Promote Ukraine Marta Barandiy, Ph.D., took part in the roundtable discussion “EU Sanctions: Towards a More Comprehensive Ban on Russian Aluminium” held by European Aluminium.

All the speakers came the conclusion that the need for an extensive ban on Russian #aluminium is urgent! If you work with Russian business and conduct negotiations with Russia, you support Russia and provide them with resources to prolong the war. We have to admit that the war is already happening on European soil.

“If you do business with Russia, you directly finance the war,” said Marta Barandiy.

We call on the European Commission and European Council to put a full embargo on Russian aluminium, stop transhipment of Russian LNG and stop supporting all Russian business.
