Since the beginning of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the losses of the occupiers have exceeded 126,000 people. Ukrainian defenders liquidated about 650 invaders during the past day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported.
The total combat losses of the enemy between 24 February 2022 and 29 January 2023 approximately amounted to:
- about 126,160 persons were liquidated
- 3,197 tanks
- 6,366 armoured fighting vehicles
- 2,195 artillery systems
- 453 multiple launch rocket systems
- 221 anti-aircraft warfare systems
- 293 aircraft
- 284 helicopters
- 5,037 motor vehicles and fuel tanks
- 18 warships/boats
- 1,947 unmanned aerial vehicles
- 199 special equipment units
- 796 enemy cruise missiles
The Ukrainian command also informed that the occupiers did not cease its attempts to destroy critical infrastructure of Ukraine, and continued to attack civilian objects and residential areas.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian occupiers launched 1x missile and 32x air strikes and conducted more than 65x MLRS attacks, including on civilian infrastructure of Donetsk and Kherson regions. The attacks caused casualties among civilian population.
In addition, the Russians continue offensive operations in Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Novopavlivka directions. Kupyansk, Lyman, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson – Russian forces stay on the defensive.
