Ukrainian authorities call on the world not to produce a large number of peace plans but to focus on the adoption and implementation of the Ukrainian peace plan – the peace formula announced in November 2022.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba made a corresponding statement following his visit to Morocco.
He noted that he discussed “various proposals that appear like mushrooms after the rain on how to restore peace in Ukraine” with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Morocco Nasser Bourita. The uncontrolled proliferation of such offers leads to the fact that there are too many of them.
“That is why Ukraine suggests that the international community should focus on the peace formula proposed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. It consists of 10 points that relate to the security, nuclear, humanitarian, social, and environmental aspects of the war, as well as the issue of reconstruction,” Ukraine’s top diplomat added.
As a reminder, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba stated earlier that mediation between Ukraine and Russia in matters of ending the full-scale war is acceptable only if it meets two “fundamental principles.”
President Zelensky previously stated that the peace formula summit could be held on 2 July 2023 – 500 days after the start of the full-scale war unleashed by the Russian Federation.
