In Russia, There Is an Emergency Situation: People Are Being Evacuated. Video

In Russia, there were explosions at an ammunition depot, where there are at least 75,000 tons of artillery. Therefore, a state of an emergency situation was declared in the Ryazan region.

At least six people were injured in the fire. According to doctors, two of them were hospitalised in serious condition and moderate condition.

The number of evacuees also increased – 14 settlements. 2,300 people were forced to move to temporary shelters. The fire destroyed two dozen houses in one of the nearby villages.

The Russian Ministry of Defence claims that the fire started with the burning of grass, then the flames spread to the depot. The military was unable to extinguish it on their own, and explosions continue to be heard on the spot.

Grass fires in the area at this time occur regularly. According to the regional Ministry of Emergencies, during the week from 28 September to 4 October, there were 30 man-made fires and 163 dry vegetation and garbage fires.
