This week in Davos at the sixth meeting of Ukraine House Davos, a delegation of Ukrainian and international politicians, business representatives, military, and opinion leaders gathered to share ideas and collaborate on opportunities that can help create a free and democratic Ukraine.
One of the panels discussed the issue of freezing and confiscating the assets of the aggressor country and the possibility of transferring them to Ukraine for military and humanitarian support of the population.
“It’s the right thing to do morally, politically, and financially to confiscate these assets. The United States government has issued some statements saying that they support it. I don’t think it can be done unless everybody does it together,” said William Browder.
We thank the panel speakers: Ростислав Шурма, William Browder, Timothy Ash, Yuliya Ziskina.
