According to General Staff data, the enemy is not stopping conducting offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone. The situation in the direction of Volyn and Polissya has not changed significantly.
In the Siversky area, the enemy launched airstrikes on objects in the areas of Zapsillia, Myropillia, and shelled artillery near Kindrativka in the Sumy region.
In the Kharkiv direction, the occupiers fired on the areas north and northeast of Kharkiv, as well as the populated localities of Ruski Tyshky, Cherkaski Tyshky, Ruska Lozova, Pytomnyk, Borshchova, and Peremoha.
In the Slovyansk direction, the enemy is regrouping troops to resume the offensive in the directions of Izium – Barvinkove, Izium – Slovyansk.
To ensure aviation support for the units in the area north of Izium in the Kharkiv region, the enemy is keeping a Ka-52 helicopter squadron ready.
As part of the logistics support and replenishment of the units that suffered losses, the enemy redeployed more than 250 units of weapons and military equipment to the temporarily occupied localities. To make the redeployment of its troops and equipment more efficient, the Russian army restored a railway bridge in the area of Kupyansk, Kharkiv region.
In the Donetsk area, the aggressor’s units are focusing on offensive operations to encircle Ukrainian troops in the Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk districts and block the main logistics routes.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy gained a foothold in Lyman, regrouping for a further attack on Slovyansk.
In the Sievierodonetsk direction, the Russians gained a foothold on the northeastern and southeastern outskirts of Sievierodonetsk. To strengthen the group, ammunition and equipment were redeployed from the territory of Russia to certain areas.
In the Bakhmut area, Russian troops are regrouping to further advance towards Oleksandropol – Komyshuvakha.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the aggressors strengthened the group by redeploying up to 120 weapons and military equipment units from the Melitopol area towards Vasylivka.
In the Southern Buh direction, the enemy is continuing to focus the main efforts on holding the occupied frontiers, restraining the Ukrainian troops, and preventing the Defence Forces’ reserves from being redeployed to other directions.
To compensate for the losses, Russian troops are redeploying military equipment removed from storage from the territory of Russia and the temporarily occupied Crimea.
In the Kryvyi Rih area, the enemy is continuing to fire artillery on the Ukrainian positions and carry out counter-battery activities.
Over the past 24 hours, 14 enemy attacks were repulsed in the Donetsk and Luhansk directions. Two artillery systems, 11 armoured personnel vehicles, and 10 enemy vehicles were destroyed. The air defence units downed two cruise missiles and three Kub UAVs.
The Air Force fighters downed two enemy UAVs over the Sumy region.
The Ukrainian aircraft also launched an airstrike on the occupiers’ units in the area of Dovhenke. The enemy suffered losses in other directions as well.
