Fifty Combat Engagements Took Place Over Past Day

According to General Staff data, the enemy launched 30 missile strikes, 52 airstrikes, and 75 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated settlements over the past 24 hours. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, civilians were killed and injured, and residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure objects were destroyed.

Fifty combat engagements took place over the past day. In the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the enemy launched mortar and artillery attacks on more than 35 settlements, in particular Buchky, Hremyach, Vesele in the Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Sydorivka, Studenok, Basivka, Velyka Pysarivka in the Sumy region; and Huryiv Kozachok, Strilecha, Hatyshche, Potykhonove, Odradne, and Bolohivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk direction, our soldiers firmly held the defence, successfully repelling enemy attacks in the area east of Petropavlivka, Kharkiv region. The enemy launched airstrikes in the areas of Petropavlivka and Podoly, Kharkiv region. More than 10 settlements, including Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Kindrashivka, Kucherivka, Kupyansk, and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched airstrikes in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Spirne and Rozdolivka, Donetsk region. The settlements of Kuzmyne, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Berestove, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were hit with enemy artillery.

In the Bakhmut direction, the defence forces held back the Russians in the area northeast of Dyliyivka. More than 15 settlements, including Vasiukivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka, and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region, came under enemy artillery fire.

In the Avdiyivka direction, under heavy enemy aircraft and artillery fire, our defenders successfully repelled Russian attacks near Avdiyivka. Avdiyivka and Pervomayske in the Donetsk region were hit with artillery.

In the the Maryinka direction, the defence forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the areas of Maryinka and Krasnohorivka. Near the latter, the enemy launched an airstrike. Krasnohorivka, Maksymilyanivka, Heorhiyivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region were hit with artillery.

In the Shakhtarske direction, the enemy launched an airstrike near Staromayorske. Vodiane, Vuhledar, Odradne, Blahodatne, and Rivnopil in the Donetsk region were hit with artillery.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the occupiers’ troops conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy launched airstrikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, and Orikhiv. More than 15 settlements were hit with artillery, including Levadne, Chervone, Zaliznychne, Pavlivka, Pyatykhatky, Kamyanske in the Zaporizhzhia region and Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy launched an airstrike in the area of Olhivka, Kherson region. More than 20 settlements, including Mykhailivka, Respublikanets, Lvove, Dniprovske, Veletenske, and Novodmytrivka in the Kherson region, came under enemy artillery fire.

The enemy continues to suffer heavy losses, which it tries to hide in every way. Thus, in the temporarily captured settlement of Chaplynka, Kherson region, two trucks with the bodies of Russian servicemen arrived at the territory of a morgue in the Kherson area. The bodies were buried in two locations.

Over the past day, the aviation of the defence forces launched 10 strikes on enemy personnel clusters and four strikes on the occupiers’ anti-aircraft missile system.

Missile and artillery units hit two enemy command posts, two personnel clusters, two artillery systems on firing positions, and an EW station.
