The advanced EU mission has started working to assess Ukraine’s infrastructure readiness for the “industrial visa-free regime” agreement.
“During the online meeting of the Taras Kachka, Trade Representative of Ukraine, with the European Union Delegation to Ukraine, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for the Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW), the parties agreed to launch a preliminary EU mission to assess the readiness of Ukraine’s infrastructure to an Agreement on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Products (ACAA Agreement, “Industrial Visa-Free”),” the Ministry of Economy states.
The Ministry stressed that it takes the measures to conclude the ACAA Agreement to support and develop the export of Ukrainian products. This agreement is one of the President of Ukraine and the Government’s priorities in relation to the EU. In particular, it provides for opening the access for industrial products to the markets of Ukraine and the EU based on mutual recognition of the results of conformity assessment work on industrial products.
Besides, the ACAA agreement conduction opens new opportunities for Ukrainian business and investment attraction in Ukraine’s economic growth.
