Enemy Launches 48 Airstrikes on Civilian Critical Infrastructure Objects in Zhytomyr and Kyiv Regions

The Russian Federation continues its armed aggression against Ukraine and does not abandon its intention to fully occupy Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The enemy continues to conduct offensive operations in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarsk directions and hold the defence in other directions. According to the General Staff data, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 83 enemy attacks on the eastern part of the front over the past day.

The Russian aggressor continues to use its usual tactics of terrorising the civilian population, shelling populated settlements and critical infrastructure facilities.

Over the past day, the enemy launched a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia city. Russian missiles hit an apartment block. Civilians were killed and injured. Moreover, the enemy launched 48 airstrikes, in particular, on civilian critical infrastructure objects in Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions. The invaders launched 21 Shahed-136 UAVs from Russia’s Bryansk region, 16 of these drones were shot down. Civilians were killed and injured in enemy UAV strikes. In addition, the invaders launched 75 MLRS attacks.

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force struck an enemy anti-aircraft missile system and launched 12 strikes on the occupiers’ personnel and military equipment clusters. Missile and artillery units hit an enemy command post, three personnel clusters, an ammunition depot, and an electronic warfare station.
