Though 30th May is a bank holiday in Belgium, we had a hard working day. We had a training on how to co-operate with media – for Promote Ukraine members and other NGOs. We tried to talk simple about the complicated issues: how media has changed since the beginning of the new century (and why it is important), how to encourage journalists to co-operate, how social networks work (and whether they are really effective), what are the tools for media and social networks monitoring and analytics, what ethical challenges arise for those who work with media.
The training was given by Volodymyr Martsynovskyi, a media and communications expert with many years of experience at different media and PR agencies, will provide answers to these and other questions.
Volodymyr manages an agency which specialises in marketing communications, PR, media analysis and open data analysis.
