The separation of forces and equipment in four directions on the frontline in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and about 19 new locations for demining are under preparation. The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov stated this.
According to him, there is no final decision on separation yet.
“The Minsk process is a bit blocked due to the Russian Federation position and their ‘proxies,’ which represent the occupation regimes in Donetsk and Luhansk,” the Deputy Prime Minister said. He added that Ukraine should not wait until a “good will” appears in the Kremlin.
“We must move in our own format, building our own, our own landscape,” Reznikov stressed.
He also stated that two new entry-exit checkpoints in the settlements of Shchastya and Zolote are under preparation for the opening on the demarcation line by 10 November, as had been agreed in Paris.
To recap, it has been reported that the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission had fixed more than 1,600 ceasefire violations in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts since the beginning of the ceasefire declaration.
