Illegal Referendums Are Russian Terrorist Acts

On  8 October at 13:00, Promote Ukraine, and the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum will hold a demonstration in front of the Russian Mission to the EU!

The protest aims to oppose the sham referenda organised by Russia in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
These illegitimate acts were committed with complete disregard for the Constitution and legislation of Ukraine and the fundamental norms and principles of international law. This practice of occupation and annexation poses a serious threat to European and global security and stability!

This Saturday, we are coming together to the streets of Brussels to represent the Ukrainian, Georgian and Moldovan communities in opposing the aggression committed against Ukraine and the attempts to forcefully change the borders – a similarly familiar experience for Georgia and Moldova!

We demand prompt condemnation, in the strongest possible terms, the organisation of these planned sham ‘referenda’ and leave no room for uncertainty as to the fact that these territories remain recognised as Ukrainian territories!

We demand the expansion of the sanctions list of Russians!  Continued attempts to annex the territories of Ukraine are unacceptable! The whole world stands united in support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova!

In the framework of the demonstration, fake voting happening under the watchful eye of a Russian soldier with his gun will be imitated.
