DEIn October, the Defence Forces of Ukraine eliminated 12,860 Russian soldiers. This is a record result for the entire period of the full-scale war launched by the Russian Federation.
Such data were released by the Shrike News Telegram channel.
Moreover, during the previous month, the Russian occupation forces lost:
- 344 tanks
- 552 armoured personnel vehicles
- 333 artillery systems
- 47 MLRS
- 21 air defence systems
- 12 aircraft
- 31 helicopters
- 406 UAVs
- 151 cruise missiles
- 357 vehicles and fuel tanks
- 23 special equipment units
It is telling that the Ukrainian troops achieved the highest results in the destruction of cruise missiles, drones, and artillery systems since February.
In particular, on the last day of October, as the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported, the defenders of Ukraine shot down four enemy helicopters, two unmanned aerial vehicles, and 45 cruise missiles in different directions of the front.
Meanwhile, the Russian occupiers launched 60 missile strikes, 15 airstrikes, and more than 45 MLRS attacks over the past 24 hours.
The areas of more than 50 settlements, including Soledar, Vuhledar, Yakovlivka, Vesele of the Donetsk region, came under enemy fire.
